I had the same problem, Tony, except for the hip turn. My hips stay straight to the target line, but I had trouble turning my shoulders on the backswing.
What helped me was holding the head of a club in my right hand (I’m right handed) and pushing on the **** of the club with my left hand - forcing the right shoulder to go back, while keeping my hips straight. I hold for 3 or 4 seconds, then do 10 repetitions of the stretch. Hope it helps you, too.
