I’d replace it when I lost it. They’re not really necessary; nor is golf a sport. At best its a hobby.

I don’t think there’s any rule of thumb that can tell you when you should replace your golf glove. I think that decision should be made by you. If you feel that your golf glove is wearing out or is starting to rip or have holes in it, it’s probably time to replace it.

I’m still using my footjoy which is 6 months old and hard as a rock.

I usually don’t replace my glove unless there are large holes forming.

Replacing your glove every 6 rounds is absolutely ridiculous unless you are playing for a living. IMHO of course.

I guess its really a matter of personal choice. I’ve been using the same glove for a few months, atleast 40-45 rounds and its held up. Some gloves last longer than others, but there’s no set limit that I know.

I change mine when the grip on the glove starts tearing and ripping apart. I try to save my gloves to best I can though. 6 rounds is WAY too short (unless your playing in 110 degrees weather all the time and your glove is covered in sweat everytime you play)

when it has a hole in it

I’d say a specific number of rounds or schedule for the life of a golf glove is too much brain damage. How about just wearing the glove until it wears out or you don’t like anymore and then go get a new one?

I replace my glove when it gets a hole.

Here’s a cheap (price - not quality) glove

$11.95 for two + $2 shipping and handling

Master Grip. Other stuff too. I love their Pima Cotton shirts.

I have Tacki-Mac grips on my clubs. No need for gloves with that. They stick to your hands. :)
